Thundercats At The Comic-con
Published on July 24, 2011 by admin · 4 CommentsNot long now before the new Thundercats series gets its first showing on Cartoon Network. The lucky folk at yesterday’s Comic-con in San Diego got to see an exclusive showing of the 2 part pilot episode and Thunderdad and long time visitor to this site Steve Barton emailed me to say it went down really well.
There were lots of Thundercats fans as well as press in the queue and the room was packed. We weren’t disappointed either, the crowd went wild at several parts of the showing. I don’t want to give too much away but the biggest cheers came from the older viewers who were fans of the original Thundercats. While you can’t please everybody all of the time, I am happy to report it looks like they kept their promise and looked after The Thunderdads. I had a big grin on my face for hours

Warner Bros tell us they have no details yet about licensing in the UK and other countries. As soon as anything is known though, we will be letting everyone know
