Thundercats CGI Footage

Published on February 20, 2011 by   ·   5 Comments

This is the test footage Warner Bros had done for The Thundercats movie which has now been shelved. The movie was to have told the story of Lion-O coming of age.

Warner Bros are currently working on a new TV series of The Thundercats and if successful we can expect talk of the movie to restart.

“Disappointed” isn’t even the word I would use to describe how I feel right now. Pissed off is more of a better term (and the only thing I can say without being obscene)! I can’t even begin to tell you the excitement I had when my girlfriend told me months ago that a THUNDERCATS movie was going to be made. My son is 14 now, but when he was 4, I started telling him about my favorite cartoon as a kid…Thundercats! I used to say all the lines I could remember to him. Then I found out they played Thundercats reruns on Cartoon Network! My son and I couldn’t get enough! Then they stopped playing it there. After that, I couldn’t find it anywhere. I maybe found a couple of clips here or there on the internet, but not enough to cure my addiction to the show! So you can now understand my complete glee and excitement when I found out about the movie! Now its being shelved for some other hum-drum movie that will wind up replacing it? There are so many CRAP movies that are made from no longer seen TV shows and cartoons. Thundercats would be such a hit. Can you imagine the amount of money that would be made with t-shirt sales, action figures, video games?!? Hell, if I had the money, I would make it myself and laugh my ass all the way to bank knowing that the dumb execs for “Warn-A-Brother ” can’t see a sure thing if it bit them on their white, pasty asses! Seriously…y’all made a big mistake. Think about it…bring it back! NOW!!!

My sis (the Thunderfan) LOVED this trailer and says she woulda been 1st in line for the movie. She loves the new concept for Lion-o and thinks he’s so funny, and hot. XD
Just thought I’d mention it. I would have been happy to see the movie with her too.

Not bad for it too be more than 20 years since Lion-O last was seen on Television. The new animated cartoon looks hotter but this will have to do for now. Thumbs Up I’ll rate it 4 stars!!!!!

Warner Bros u need to get on the ball with this Thundercats movie!! The generation that grew up on it is PATIENTLY waiting for it!! This is so sad u cant see a blockbuster when its right in front of ur face!! If u wait to long the ones that know about it will be gone and you will be stuck with nothing cuz u waited so long and noone will have a clue Dumb-asses
