ThunderCats on the Houses of Parliament!
Written by clare on April 16, 2008 – 9:02 pm -The ThunderCats Season 2 Volume 1 DVD box set was released in the UK on April 14 and this is what Warner Home Video in the UK did to celebrate. I can’t quite believe that our beloved ThunderCats logo was displayed on the Houses of Parliament and Battersea Power Station in London!

Thundercats, hooooo!

I like this entry of the mighty ThunderCat symbol being displayed on London, England’s Houses of Parliament and Battersea Power Station. Now I feel I don’t want them to take it down, since “ThunderCats” is a highly popular cartoon over there and less of a success in America. A YouTube user, Thomasfyren, uploaded some “T’Cats” episodes, and from what I could tell, the eps’ tapes were sped up and their audio was slightly higher, which must indicate there’s an international version of “T’Cats.” If it aired in the U.S., it would have to be remastered in hi-definition for superior picture and sound quality, but the tapes and audio would be returned to their regular pitch. That’s just my wishful thinking, of course.

The only thing that could be better would be if they had used red lights, instead of white. That way we could have pretended it was Lion-O himself :3 (never has that emote seemed more fitting…)

agrees, but with this it can not be helped, it is in their blood

The uploads were probably from old VHSes. They played Thundercats fairly recently on Cartoon Network, and I would expect it to return by the time the movie comes out.
